Menominee County Administrator Jason Carviou says the $1.9 trillion dollar stimulus bill expected to get final approval from the House of Representatives today should be worth about $4.4 million dollars to the county, but he  says the money isn’t all coming at once…

Half the money will come within 60 days of the bill taking effect.  The other half will come a year later. All the money has to be spent by 2024.

But exactly what that money can be spent on is a still cloudy, according to Carviou, but the Michigan Association of Counties will be working on getting that clarified.
