04/02/2019- Menominee County saw unemployment of just over 4% in February. Data released by the state’s Department of Technology, Management, and Budget shows about 4.1% of county residents were without a job, down measurably from the 5.6% unemployment recorded at the same time last year. Michigan’s statewide joblessness in February also stood at 4.1%. That’s up slightly from the even 4% seen in January, but down from the 4.9% unemployment in February of 2018.
