01/01/2019- Unemployment figures are holding steady in Menominee County. Michigan’s Department of Technology, Management, and Budget reports joblessness in the county in November stood at 3.4%, the same as it was in October. Menominee County’s unemployment rate in November of 2017 was at 4.3%. Unemployment across Michigan dropped slightly in November to 3.6% from the 3.8% recorded in October. November 2017 state numbers show joblessness was around 4.1%.
