10/01/2018- The Menominee Fire Department will begin conducting fire hydrant flushing to help maintain the water quality and to evaluate the amount of water available for fire fighting purposes. The flushing will be done North of 18th Avenue and South of 39th Avenue including all streets from 10th through 23rd. The works starts today and continues through Friday November 9th. Residents may experience some discoloration of water and possibly lower than normal water pressure. These conditions do not represent a health hazard. However, customers are cautioned to determine if their water is clear before washing clothes as staining may occur. If you experience discolored water, run the cold water in your faucets for approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
