03/30/2020- While you can still go outside during the coronavirus pandemic, Menominee’s Recreation Department is asking parents to keep their kids off the city’s playground equipment for the time being. All City-owned playgrounds, public restrooms, and pavilion shelters will be temporarily closed to preserve the health and safety of park users and prevent further spread of COVID-19. City parks will remain open for passive use, but the City encourages people to practice social distancing, even when outside. Maintenance in the parks system will continue as usual, weather permitting.
