Menominee school staff are scheduled to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination on Friday.  Superintendent John Mans told the school board Monday night the logistics are being worked out today. He says the district may have to go to a half day of instruction Friday if they cannot cover the classrooms while teachers are getting their shots. Mans says it will take about 45 minutes per person, including time for observation of the individual after receiving the vaccination.   Mans says the shots are not mandatory for staff.
