12/28/2018- A Menominee Township family lost their home in a Christmas Eve fire. Three fire agencies battled the blaze on River Road for about five hours Monday evening. There were reportedly some people inside the home when the fire broke out, but all occupants and two dogs made it outside safely. The home is considered a total loss and a pickup truck parked nearby also burned. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported by any of the firefighters or EMS personnel on scene.
