02/13/2020- A man from Menominee will serve at least seven years behind bars for his role in a local drug dealing network. 46-year-old Michael Peak was sentenced last week to seven to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty in October to Delivery of Methamphetamine. He was arrested following an investigation by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team which found him to be selling the dangerous drug in Menominee. Peak has been sentenced to prison on three prior occasions and 41st Circuit Court Judge Christopher Ninomiya ordered he serve a minimum of seven years in state prison before he’ll be eligible for parole.
