The results are in from Tuesday’s Michigan elections. Menominee County residents voted 140 to 108 to approve the Carney-Nadeau Public Schools Sinking Fund Millage. The school was seeking a three-mill increase for two years, generating a total of $331000 to pay for improvements at the school. Ballot questions in Delta County included the Escanaba Area School Sinking Fund, the Fairbank Township Planning Proposal, and the Garden Township Planning Proposal, all of which were approved.
