10/30/2019- A vehicle stolen Monday in Tomahawk, Wisconsin was involved in a police pursuit in Marinette County that ultimately ended with the apprehension of a man wanted on drug charges. Marinette County was notified Monday evening that Forest County deputies were in pursuit of the stolen truck, which crossed into Marinette County on U.S. Highway 8. That vehicle was eventually stopped in the Town of Niagara and the suspect, 37-year-old Dieter Sobtebier of Minnesota was ordered out of the vehicle and taken into custody. Sotebier has warrants out for his arrest in Minnesota on narcotic charges and his driving status has been revoked. He was ultimately relayed by law enforcement back to Oneida County, where the vehicle was stolen. Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve reports there were no injuries or vehicles damaged in the incident.
