Sailors from across the Upper Peninsula, Northeast Wisconsin, and the Great Lakes region will take part in the 86th annual M&M Yacht Club 100-Miler Race on Saturday. Rick Estebo, past commodore of the M&M Yacht Club, says, “right now we have 29 boats signed up.”

Estebo says, “the best thing I can tell people is to be sure to be there at the start.”

The 100-Miler is a scenic run from Menominee across the Bay of Green Bay to the Door County shores and back. Both classes will be challenged by the rocky shoals of the Strawberry Channel and be treated to views of Eagle Bluff Light. Yachts that choose to fly spinnaker will enjoy an extra 6 miles making their way around Green Island and Horseshoe Island at various points of sail. The 100-Miler is this Saturday, July 30th beginning at 9am at Marina Park.
