08/27/2018- The Tri-City Area United Way’s Getting Ahead Program helps lay the groundwork for participants to transition to self-sufficiency and establish healthy goals for their future. That impact will now be broadened thanks to a grant from the M&M Area Community Foundation’s Women’s Giving Circle. The Giving Circle awarded the funds to the support the program’s 16-week life-skills building course for socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals. The Getting Ahead Program is a partnership of the local United Way and the St. Vincent de Paul St. Joseph Conference-Marinette.
