08/03/2018- Families in need in Marinette and Menominee Counties can get a little extra help stocking their pantries this month. Through a grant provided by the Caterpillar Foundation, Feeding America will host a mobile food pantry at the Abundant Life Church and Mission in Menominee on Wednesday, August 15th. Abundant Life Pastor Dave Pennell says the bi-monthly event supplies people with the nutritious food they and their families need regardless of age or income.
The last mobile food pantry served more than 400 people, and that doesn’t include the numerous non-profit agencies in the community that also receive food from these distributions. The Feeding America mobile food pantry begins at 10:00 AM.
