05/13/2019- It’s more good news for Marinette’s Menekaunee Harbor restoration project. City Engineer Brian Miller reported to the Common Council this week the DNR has made additional money available for habitat restoration work both at the harbor and in the South Channel. The extra funds would total about $166-thousand and the City would act as a pass-through for those payments with no match required. Council unanimously approved accepting the money and amending the Scope of Work for Aid Agreement at both locations for the additional restoration efforts.
