08/10/2018- Organizers of the Wall That Heals display that will be coming to Crivitz later this month are assisting in a nationwide effort to gather names of those who died from Vietnam-related conditions and illnesses. The founders of Washington D.C.’s Vietnam Veterans Memorial have created an “In Memory” program that recognizes those who died following their service in the war due to the after-effects of the use of chemicals like Agent Orange. The Wall That Heals Committee is now asking residents who have a family member or friend that died from Vietnam-related condition to contact them with that person’s name, service dates, and, if possible, a photo. Those service members will be honored on a special display alongside the Wall That Heals exhibit and will be added to the national 2019 In Memory program. Veteran names and information can be submitted by calling 715-854-2030.
