More National Guard COVID-19 test sites will be coming to our region. In response to the surge of COVID-19 cases in Oconto County, Public Health and Emergency Management departments there have requested coronavirus testing assistance from the Wisconsin National Guard. The Guard will be providing free drive-through COVID-19 screenings at the Doty Town Hall located in Mountain October 27th, November 24th, and December 8th from noon until 8 p.m., and also November 10th from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The site is open to anyone 5 years of age and older with at least one symptom of COVID-19, or who have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Testing is provided on a first-come first-served basis and due to the unknown amount of interest, people should prepare for potential wait times. To save time, participants are encouraged to register the day of their test at register.covidconnect.wi.gov.
