08/02/2019- It’s a chance to meet local law enforcement and other emergency response personnel up close and personal. National Night Out will be held next Tuesday, August 6th at Marinette’s Community REC Center. Detective Craig Kopatz with the Marinette Police Department says this annual event for residents of Marinette, Menominee, and the surrounding area is something the department has been hosting for decades in an effort to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
Attendees will have the chance to get hands-on with some emergency vehicles at the event and there are also a number of demonstrations, games, and giveaways to take part in.
There’s no cost to attend National Night Out. The event runs from 4 until 8 p.m.
