A new memorial will be dedicated at the Crivitz Community Veterans Park on Memorial Day. The Crivitz Business Association has been dedicating its time and resources to creating a memorial that will recognize those from the greater Crivitz community who have given their lives in service to our country in times of war.  The memorial will also recognize those who have served in our nation’s military.  They are pleased to announce the receipt of a grant in the amount of $1200.00 from the Crivitz Area Fund, through the M and M Area Community Foundation, toward the construction of this memorial.   The memorial will contain flags and monuments recognizing each branch of our military service.  There will be a recreation of the World War II Honor Roll.  A stone monument recognizing the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and those who served in Vietnam will be a part of the memorialas well .  The key feature of the memorial will be a monument honoring the twelve area individuals who have died in past wars helping preserve the freedoms we so greatly enjoy as Americans.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication of the memorial at Crivitz Community Veterans Park will be held on May 31st, Memorial Day, at 11:00 AM.  The park is located on the corner of Henriette Ave. and Park Street in the village of Crivitz.
