If you’re one of the countless people who’ve picked up a new outdoor hobby during the pandemic- or you’ve been doing it for a while- you may want to mark an upcoming event at Marinette’s Community REC Center on your calendar. The three-day Fishing Boating Outdoor Show will make a stop locally February 19th through the 21st. The show features local, regional, and national retailers, outfitters, and organizations covering nearly all your outdoor recreational needs. Show Producer Chuck Collins says it’s a family-friendly event that’ll also include informational seminars, kids’ activities, and safety courses.

Outdoor recreation has been a part of the culture here long before COVID-19 hit, but Collins says the pandemic has reignited that passion for many and has opened the door for new family traditions.

Tickets for the Fishing Boating Outdoor show are available at the door and cost $8 for adults while youth under 12 are free. To keep both vendors and visitors safe, everyone in attendance is expected to follow any COVID-19 guidelines that are in place at the REC Center during the event.
