The opening of a Community Covid Clinic at the UWGB-Marinette Field House attracted Governor Tony Evers, Interim DHS Secretary Karen Timberlake and others Monday February 22 to tour the clinic, which is a partnership of Prevea Heath, Marinette County Public Health, and UWGB.  The clinic is designed to administer as many as 1450 doses of vaccine, with sufficient supplies available.  During training last week, 150 does were administered, and they expect another 750 people to receive a doses this week.

Currently, vaccine supply and allocation across Wisconsin remains limited – even for those groups currently eligible for vaccination. Governor Evers knows a lot more is needed.

Both Marinette County Public Health Office Molly Bonjean and Prevea President and CEO Dr. Ashok Rai say they are continuing to look at way to serve the Northern part of Marinette County with vaccines.

The Community clinic will accept all community members who are currently eligible under the Wisconsin DHSA guidelines.  Appointments are required, and can be made through the MYPREVEA.COM website or app, or by calling toll free 833-344-4373.  You do not have to be a Prevea patient to sign up for My Prevea.
