Lot owners and those caring for graves in City of Marinette Cemeteries may place summer decorations on graves beginning Friday May 7th, 2021.

Any floral beds upon graves must be cut out of the sod and kept weeded at all times.  If decorations become unsightly due to overgrown grass or weeds, they will be removed so trimmers can trim around the marker. Decorations mounted on wire tripods are prohibited.

The deer and rabbit problem should be taken into consideration when placing live plants.  Your florist can recommend a type of plant that wildlife do not like.

Please use your discretion when placing decorations that may be valuable as the city is not responsible for stolen or vandalized items.

Gravesites of U.S. Military Veteran’s buried in City of Marinette are eligible for a complementary honorary U.S. grave marker flag for placement on U.S. Military Veterans grave prior to Memorial Day.
