08/13/2020- The winner in the Republican Primary for Wisconsin’s 89th Assembly District seat says Tuesday’s election results show he’s still the right person for the job. Incumbent John Nygren of Marinette defeated challenger Andi Rich in this week’s Primary, the first Primary he’s been in since 2006. He characterized the race as “loud” and “passionate” and says he’s humbled by the outcome.

Nygren says leading up to November’s General Election- and beyond if re-elected- his focus will be on local issues including water quality, affordable housing, as well as working to strengthen the post-COVID economy both here at home and statewide.

Nygren and Democrat Karl Jaeger go head-to-head for the 89th Assembly District Seat November 3rd.
