03/02/2020- Two separate drug offenders in Menominee County have been sentenced. 31-year-old Jesse Dick of Menominee will serve two to six years behind bars after pleading guilty to possession of heroin and possession of cocaine as a habitual offender. According to Menominee County Prosecuting Attorney Jeffrey Rogg, Dick has 21 prior convictions dating back to 1999. Augusta Baumler, age 39, of Menominee, was also recently ordered to serve two to ten years in prison following her conviction on two counts of possession of methamphetamine. She was arrested last July after a search of her residence turned up quantities of crystal meth, drug scales, and “buy money” from a controlled sale conducted as part of an investigation by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team.
