The State of Michigan has entered phase 1B of the COVID-19 Vaccination effort. Michigan residents over the age of 65 as well as a number of essential worker groups may now receive the vaccine.

Due to the limited amount of vaccine being received locally, Public Health Delta Menominee County is no longer making appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine. Instead, a waitlist is being developed.

Public Health Delta and Menominee Counties says their call volume over the past several days has been overwhelming for staff and for those trying to schedule appointments so Public Health has partnered with 2-1-1 to help ease call volumes for COVID-19 vaccine requests.

Menominee and Delta county residents over the age of 65 can call 2-1-1 between 7am and 2pm Central Time to be put on the waitlist to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. As Public Health receives confirmation of vaccine allotments, you will be called and scheduled for an appointment.
