A food drive competition held between law enforcement agencies in both Wisconsin and Michigan netted big results for the community. Officers from the Michigan State Police Gladstone Post and Marinette County Sheriff’s Office each parked department vehicles in front of Jack’s Fresh Market stores in Marinette and Menominee last Friday as part of their “Stuff the Blue Goose” event to see who could collect the most food donations from residents. The agencies ended up with multiple truck and squad car loads of food for families in need this holiday season. All donations were delivered to the Marinette Salvation Army for distribution.
