The Great Start Collaborative of Menominee County in partnership with Spies Public Library and the Menominee County Library is hosting a Reading Adventure event, “When Winter Comes.” This event will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 6 at Henes Park. Children ages 0-8, along with their families, are invited to attend this free, winter-themed literacy event where they will be able to participate in a book walk, scavenger hunt, snowshoeing, snowman building, and more. Free books, hot chocolate and a snack will be provided for each child that attends. The Great Start Collaborative will also be selling their winter animal Build-A-Book Buddy kits for $25.
