01/07/2020- The latest report from Michigan’s Department of Technology, Management, and Budget shows Menominee County’s unemployment rate holding steady. The local unemployment rate in November was at an even 3%, the same as it was in October. Those figures were down from the 3.4% unemployment recorded in November of 2018. The statewide unemployment average in November was 3.2%. That’s down from both October’s 3.5% and the 3.4% joblessness seen in Michigan one year prior.
