03/13/2020- NWTC is joining the list of colleges across the state and the country opting to keep students off campus to limit any potential spread of COVID-19. The college announced yesterday they’ve made the decision to extend their spring break until March 28th at all their campuses, including Marinette’s. Officials hope this will not only reduce the likelihood that students might be exposed to the coronavirus on campus, but will also allow the school and instructors additional time to prepare alternative delivery methods for course completion in the event a student does become infected and cannot attend class. All campuses will remain open during the extended break. Students are asked to ensure they have all essential items they may need if they are not able to return to campus immediately, include any medications or items related to their coursework.
