07/28/2020- The fall semester at NWTC Marinette kicks off August 17th, but things are likely to look and feel a little different at the local campus in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. School officials have determined that in-person instruction will go on this academic year, though many general education classes will be delivered in a blended format with a mix of in-person and remote learning. Dr. Aleisha Crowe is the NWTC Vice President of College Advancement and she says the decision to bring students back into their facilities ties directly into the type of hands-on education and experience these individuals rely on the college for.

NWTC Marinette Campus Dean Dr. Jennifer Flatt says the decision to incorporate online coursework into on-campus classes is a proactive move to lay the groundwork for virtual learning should any or all of those courses need to move to an entirely digital setting the way they did last spring.

During these uncertain times, NWTC is rolling out a new program for students called No-Risk Enrollment, where students can experience College classes with no risk for one week of the Fall semester. If within that first week, the student decides the course or program delivery mode is not right for them, they can drop the course and will not owe anything. Enrollment is still open for the upcoming semester and prospective students can learn more or apply at nwtc.edu.
