The representative for Wisconsin’s 89th Assembly District will seek a seventh term in office. Representative John Nygren of Marinette announced his intention to run for reelection earlier this week. In a release, Nygren says since taking office 12 years ago, the state has invested more money than ever into public education and has cut taxes by over $8-billion. Nygren currently serves as the co-chair for the Joint Committee on Finance. He will face challenger Ken Holdorf in the November 6th race for the Assembly seat.
