01/29/2019- A jury trial is set for one of the suspects in a 2017 overdose case involving a pregnant woman. 29-year-old Cassie Nygren, daughter of Representative John Nygren, is facing reckless homicide charges in Brown County Court. She and her boyfriend, Shawn Gray, are accused of supplying heroin laced with fentanyl to Jennifer Skeen in June of 2017, leading to both Skeen and her unborn child’s deaths. Last week, a judge scheduled a four-day trial for Nygren beginning June 10th. Nygren’s attorney has filed a motion for a change of venue and a motions hearing will be held in May.
