02/20/2020- Whether you’re coming out of high school, college, or looking to make a career change, there’s no shortage of opportunities in Marinette and Menominee Counties but sometimes the most challenging part is figuring out all of your options. A new event hosted by inVenture North and the Peshtigo Area Chamber of Commerce is looking to help with that by offering a one-stop-shop for dozens of professional and educational prospects next week. The Peshtigo Area Career, Education, and Community Expo will be held on Tuesday, February 25th at the Peshtigo High School. Roberta Davis with inVenture North says it features business, industry, and educational partners from throughout the region and attendees might be surprised at all they have to offer.
Peshtigo middle and high schoolers will spend their afternoon at the expo and Davis says that one-on-one interaction with industry and educational leaders could help them see more clearly their role in shaping the future of the community.
The public session of the Peshtigo Area Career, Education, and Community Expo runs from 4 until 6 p.m. and those looking for a job are encouraged to bring their resume.
