A plea deal is reached for a man arrested in Niagara after fleeing the scene of a traffic crash in Dickinson County. 28-year-old Anthony Robinson Jr. pleaded no contest to Battery or Threat to a Judge, Prosecutor, or Law Enforcement Officer last week. As part of an agreement, a second felony charge of possession of methamphetamine was dismissed. He’s now scheduled for sentencing April 16th. Robinson could also face charges for the crash that occurred in Dickinson County. He allegedly lost control of his car in Iron Mountain in October, struck an embankment, and became airborne. His vehicle then landed on top of another car and three teens inside the second vehicle had to be extricated. Each suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Robinson fled the scene on foot and was later captured by police in at a residence in Niagara.
