A ten-mile police chase in Delta County leads to the eventual arrest of a Menominee County man. According to the Delta County’s Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the Meijer store in Escanaba last Thursday night for a report of retail fraud. When officers arrived on scene the suspect was driving through the parking lot, but when police tried to pull him over, he took off. The suspect drove about 10 miles and eventually pulled over near M-69 and ran into the woods. He was located two hours later and taken into custody and is now facing multiple charges in Delta County Court. The name of that suspect has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
