A Marinette man will spend 26 years in prison for his role in an April 2017 crime spree. 28-year-old Chad Setunsky was sentenced in Marinette County Court Thursday on 19 felony charges including armed robbery and 1st degree recklessly endangering safety. In addition to his time behind bars, Judge Jim Morrison also ordered Setunsky to pay more than $41-thousand in restitution and obtain his GED and full-time employment. Setunsky and accomplice Ashley Niewierowski allegedly stole an ATM from a convenience store in the Town of Stephenson last April. They then led police on a high-speed chase and opened fire at a squad car. After crashing their truck into an electrical pole, the two fled on foot. Both were arrested following a more than 24-hour-long manhunt.
