Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data

Promotion Privacy Policy
This Policy statement is intended to help you understand how Bay Cities Multimedia Center collects and uses information about you in connection with the Contest on its Facebook pages and website.
Collected Information: Once you allow “Access” or “Submit” information, Bay Cities Multimedia Center may collect and have access to the information that you have chosen to put in your profile (e.g., name, profile picture, gender, current city, networks, friend lists, pages you “Like”, etc.) or information you otherwise provide directly to [Organizer]. Additionally, Bay Cities Multimedia Center collects and has access to your profile identification number (a unique number associated with each user profile on the site).
Use of Information: Bay Cities Multimedia Center may use, and in some instances store, the information it collects to administer and communicate with you regarding the programs available through the BCMMC Facebook Pages, or BCMMC website. For example, your profile identification number is used to identify you when you visit the BCMMC Facebook Page in order to provide you access to the application functionality.
Sharing of Information: BCMMC may share the photo and name found in your profile, as well as your BCMMC Facebook Page activity in accordance with your privacy settings on the Facebook platform each time you take an action within the BCMMC Facebook Page application (e.g., commenting, “liking” the Bay Cities Multimedia Center Facebook Page, etc.). Bay Cities Multimedia Center will share the information it collects with its service providers to help in administering related promotions and programs, or as otherwise required by law, such as responding to legal process and protecting against fraud.
Cookies: Bay Cities Multimedia Center uses “cookies” (small pieces of data we store for an extended period of time on your computer, mobile phone, or other device) to make the Bay Cities Multimedia Center Facebook Page application easier to use, to make our Bay Cities Multi Media Center Facebook Page related promotions and programs better, and to help protect both you and [Organizer].
