The Hodge Run began in 2012 in memory of Jim Hodge who passed away from pulmonary fibrosis. Jim was an active member of the Tri-City communities. He was an avid runner, biker, and loved to be outside. Greta Hodge Board Member of Provident Foundation says, “along with the run I’d like to emphasize organ donation. Jim received a lung transplant. It lasted for three-months, which gave us three-months more with him.”

Madison Darling Grants and Collaboration Officer with Provident Health Foundation says, “there are many ways citizens and businesses can take part.”

Since 2012, the Hodge Run has raised over $130,000. One-hundred percent of the proceeds stay local and go to support the Cardio Pulmonary Rehab Center at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Marinette. The Hodge Run begins August 6th at 7am for registration. 10k begins at 8am. For more information or to register visit jimhodgerun.org.
