Rainbow House Domestic Abuse Services received a $45,558 a grant from the Basic Needs Giving Partnership of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, a funding collaborative which includes funds from the U.S. Venture Open Fund for Basic Needs, the J.J. Keller Foundation, and other community donors. This grant will be provided annually for the next three years to support the operations of our Oconto Outreach Office. Domestic Violence has significantly increased, both in frequency and severity during the pandemic. At Rainbow House, we believe no one deserves to be abused be it emotionally, physically, financially, or sexually. Our prime service is the safety and empowerment of all victims and their children. We will provide prevention, education, and information to communities, families, and schools. “We are so grateful for the support of the Greater Green Bay Foundation”, said Executive Director Courtney Olson. “Your collective contributions to the Foundation support the mission of so many critical non-profit resources in the Greater Green Bay area”. For more information on how to help someone experiencing domestic violence, please visit our website at www.therainbowhouse.us or follow us on Facebook at Rainbow House Domestic Abuse Services. Help Is available 24/7 at (715) 735-6656 (crisis line) or (906) 290-9081 (text) line). All services are free and confidential.
About The Author
I have never found anything that has made me happier than journalism. The ability to inform the public is one of the most rewarding things anyone could do. While I have had many amazing opportunities in my career, I am finally back doing what I call a passion. The ability to be my true authentic self in black and white. I am a wife, mother of seven, grandmother to four, and I enjoy reading, collecting typewriters, movies, spending time with my family and our famous game nights!
