Rawhide Youth Services is expanding well beyond its ranch in New London. Its new residential treatment group home in Peshtigo opened on July 1st in partnership with Marinette County’s Health and Human Services Department. Greg Hooson Director of Residential Services for Rawhide Youth Services says, “we offer clinical programs, such as therapy, in coordination with Marinette County, and case management.”

Alan Loux, President and CEO of Rawhide Youth Services, says, “Rawhide is so pleased to come into this market. Certainly, we’ve had supporters from this market for years and years; and Rawhide depends on donations and support from people throughout the state and this area.”

Besides residential services, Rawhide provides aftercare and therapy services for youth and families in eight counseling centers and over 30 schools across Northeast Wisconsin. These services allow a continuum of care to help prevent youth from being placed in or re-entering residential care.
