09/14/2018- Residents in Menominee are begin reminded of the city’s garbage pickup policies and regulations. A maximum of six 33-gallon bags of trash may be placed curbside on designated pickup days and if the bags are not in a can or container, they will not be collected. Residents also need to adhere to bulk item pickup guidelines, which allow them to place three other items such as small appliances, mattresses, and rolled carpet out along with their bagged garbage. These items should be brought to the curb the day before their scheduled pickup. The bulk pickup schedule for the remainder of the year for those with regular trash pickup on Tuesday or Wednesday will be October 10th, November 14th, and December 5th and those whose garbage is usually collected Thursday and Friday will have bulk pickup days on September 26th, October 24th, November 28th, and December 19th.
