04/01/2019- Menominee County’s Chief Assistant Prosecutor will become the next County Prosecuting Attorney. After conducting interviews with several candidates this week, Circuit Court Judges Mary Barglind and Christopher Ninomiya announced the appointment of Jeffrey Rogg to the post. Rogg has been in his current position for 8 years, and takes over for Bill Merkel, who announced his resignation last in February as part of a settlement of a lawsuit Merkel had filed against the county. Rogg’s appointment is effective April 5th.
