09/17/2019- A sanitary sewer overflow has been reported in Peshtigo. The City’s Public Works Director says Public Works crews observed wastewater on the ground and flowing out of the Peshtigo River crossing structure on the west side of Peshtigo late last week. The overflow is located on a wooded area on private property, which has been cordoned off. City personnel will continue to monitor the overflow situation, but residents are reminded they can assist in minimizing flows to the sanitary sewer by directing all sump pump discharges to the storm sewer or the ground and not into the sanitary sewer.
