09/04/2018- A Wausaukee man made his initial appearance in Marinette County Court last week on drug dealing charges. 35-year-old Bruce Schmid is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine- a repeater offense- following an incident in Marinette August 25th. Schmid was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for having a cracked windshield when a police K-9 gave a positive indication for the odor of a controlled substance. Upon searching the vehicle, officers found more than 5.5 grams of cocaine, which Schmid had allegedly recently picked up from Milwaukee. There were four children in the vehicle at the time. Schmid’s bail has now been set at $25000. He’s due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance September 10th.
