07/27/2018- A Wisconsin man was arraigned in Menominee County Court this week after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase in the UP. 19-year-old Joshua James Schue of Southern Wisconsin has been charged with three counts of fleeing and eluding following the July 9th incident. Deputies from both the Menominee County and Delta County Sheriff’s Offices were involved in the pursuit, which began in Mellen Township and continued along US-2 toward Delta County. Officials eventually deployed stop sticks, which deflated one of the tires on Schue’s vehicle and he was taken into custody shortly thereafter. Schue was operating with a revoked license at the time and was also allegedly found in possession of marijuana. He’s due back in court for a probable cause hearing August 3rd.
