09/20/2018- The Marinette Police Department is notifying residents about the release of a sex offender into the community. 26-year-old Nathan Hardy was convicted of 3rd Degree Sexual Assault in 2012 and has completed the criminal sentence imposed on him by the courts. He now has a scheduled release date of September 25th and will reside on Shore Drive between Parnell and Daggett Streets. Officials stress that Hardy is not wanted by the police at this time and any attempts to threaten, intimidate, or harass registered sex offenders will not be tolerated. Hardy will be under electronic monitoring and must comply with all requirements of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry.
