10/15/2018- The Wisconsin Department of Justice has issued a Silver Alert for a Marathon County man who may be traveling in Northeast Wisconsin. 84-year-old Richard Czarnecki was last seen in his vehicle in Wausau on October 6th. He stated he wanted to get to Crivitz, but asked for directions to Rothschild, Wisconsin. He was reportedly spotted driving north on State Highway 45 and his cell phone pinged off a tower in Crandon on October 7th. Czarnecki is described as a white male, 5’7″ tall, weighing 180 pounds and was last seen in black pants and a maroon coat. He is known to wear black onyx rings with gold settings on both hands and commonly wears a bolo tie. He drives a gray 2008 Buick Lucerne with minor damage to the driver’s side front wheel well area. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
