03/18/2019- Authorities in South Dakota have arrested a Yankton man after the body recovered in Little River in Menominee Township this weekend was identified as a missing Yankton woman. KTIV of Sioux Falls reports 45-year-old Stephen Falkenberg, of Yankton, formerly of Menominee was apprehended in Sioux Falls Monday, after the Yankton County States Attorney’s office filed a complaint charging him with second-degree murder. On March 1st, 46-year-old Tamara LaFramboise was reported missing after she was last seen at her apartment just west of Yankton. The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office notified the Yankton County Sheriff’s Office on March 16th a body recovered in the Little River was identified as LaFramboise. A multi-jurisdictional investigation is being conducted. The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office is planning a press conference on the matter for Wednesday at 10:00 AM
