Families in need will benefit from the 8300 pounds of food collected in Menominee during the annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive. The donations will help stock the shelves of the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry to feed residents in both the city and the county. According to a 2016 report from the United Way, 66% of households in Menominee County either live below the federal poverty level or earn less than the basic cost of living for the county. The Stamp Out Hunger food drive was also held in Peshtigo and Marinette.
