A Wausaukee man accused in a Labor Day weekend beating in Middle Inlet has been bound over for trial. The court found probable cause Wednesday in the case against 26-year-old Jermy Starcke, who’s facing charges of mayhem, aggravated battery, kidnapping, and false imprisonment for the incident that occurred in the early morning hours of September 5th. Officers discovered the male victim sitting near a vehicle on Louisa Road with significant trauma to his face and head. He was transported to the hospital and eventually flown to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee where he was placed on a ventilator and feeding tube due to the severity of his injuries, which included a fractured skull, brain bleed, and significant brain swelling. Starcke is due back in Marinette County Court for his arraignment hearing November 11th.
