Lot owners and those caring for graves in the following City of Marinette Cemeteries: Forest Home, Congregation Montefiore, Sons of Jacob, and Woodlawn may place summer decorations on graves beginning Friday, May 6th. Decorations mounted on tri-pods are prohibited. Please use your discretion when placing decorations that may be valuable, as the city is not responsible for stolen or vandalized items.

Gravesites of U.S. Military Veterans buried in City of Marinette Cemeteries are eligible for a complementary honorary U.S. grave marker flag for placement on U.S. Military Veterans grave prior to Memorial Day.

U.S. grave marker flags for U.S. Military Veteran graves within family grave lots may be picked up at the Forest Home Mausoleum Office at 2420 Mary Street during office hours starting May 6th through May 31st, weekend office hours only 10am—2pm. They can also pick flags up at the City Clerk’s office at 1905 Hall Ave, Marinette.

U.S. Military Veterans buried in the designated Veteran Plots within American Legion, VFW, GAR may have flags placed by the various Veteran organizations and/or volunteers prior to Memorial Day.
